Exactly 1 round has been played and we're 5th with those results. I'd say its just enough. But not for a top 4 finish.

Allegedly

We just have to hope for more draws in the other games, as they will make any wins we get worth 5 points instead of 3.

I am hoping we improve our goal difference. We certainly had a number of chances in the last few games.

After 10 games...

07/08 - DLLWDWLLLL - 8pts - WLDDLWDWLLL - 20 pts (21 games)

08/09 - DLLDLWDWLL - 9 pts - WWWLDWLWLDL - 26 pts (21 games)

09/10 - LWDLDDDDDD - 10 pts - WLWDWLDLDWWWLLWWW - 40 pts (27 games)

10/11 - DWLLWDLWLD - 12pts - LLWLLWDLWLWDWLWLWWLW - 41 pts (30 games)

11/12 - DWLLLDDWLW - 12 pts - WLWLWLWWWWLLWWDLL - 40 pts (27 games)

12/13 - WDDLLLWDWL - 12 pts

Somewhat incredibly considering the appalling display of football we've just witnessed... still the equal best start to the season ever!

We have scored more goals away from home.  Not hopeful we will get any points from our next few games.  Both up against the current top two. I'm disgusted

We have an aura about us when we play at home.

6 play off spots, and only 3 decent sides does help brighten things up a little.

Depends on which maths system you're using.

There are only 3 points difference between the bottom 7 teams.

A more meaningful way of visualising the situation would look like this:

1/ CCM & Adelaide

2/ Melbourne Victory (because at least they have a three point buffer)

3/ All other teams

In other words, like this?:

23: Central Coast Mariners
22: Adelaide United
21:
20:
19:
18:
17:
16: Melbourne Victory
15:
14:
13: West Sydney Wanderers, Newcastle Jets
12: Wellington Phoenix, Melbourne Heart
11: Perth Glory
10: Brisbane Roar, Sydney FC

Three for me, and two for them.
