Do we think the club will/should release a statement denying the claims? (Assuming they're untrue)

The Covert Agent can reveal that Morrison has been meeting with a variety of franchises in an attempt to sell the club's two-year licence with a view for relocation.

Despite these discussions, sources close to Football Federation Australia suggest it's highly unlikely the governing body will allow such a transaction to take place.

The key point: Morrison has been meeting with a variety of franchises. At this time, as FFA Congress Review negotiation team is being setup.  I would be more worried if Rob was not talking to the other franchises. As he was heavily involved with negotiations leading up to the failed FFA congress review vote at the EGM.

I can't remember what rumour it was [maybe Rado leaving and perhaps others] where people in this forum rubbished Covert Agent but the bully ended up being correct. This is not a source that is wrong 100% of the time and there usually seems to be a lot of detai;ls behind what he/she says. This is not a "balls my word" type of source.

Just about everybody is bamboozled by this apparent lack of interest in making this club work from a group of 'rock star business owners' - its these type of rumours/speculation/truth that tend to give a bit of sense to us all thinking "what the fudge are they doing?"

Why do you think there's a lack of interest? Because they prefer to stay out of the limelight? It appears that Morrison in particular is working extremely hard.

These aren't "rockstar businessmen" they're low risk and prudent businessmen, for the most part they're people that own HRL Morrison and co who invest in infrastructure which are long term investments, other businesses from the owners include energy companies. The only one in there that you could apply the term "Rockstar" to is Morgan but even that is mainly due to his son.

There isn't any function to look at your old post history. Best I could suggest is use google advance search and restrict searches to https://www.yellowfever.co.nz/forum

Tony Rallis - aka Covert Agent aka agent of Hamish Watson and Ryan de Vries

When you put it all together, you understand that the Phoenix could sign Cristiano and it would still be the worst move ever according to Tony.

Is Morrison still a leader in the move for the owners to take over running the HAL?

Look, guys, for those of us who're not as up on the gossip and who's who, it becomes difficult to tell when you're being sarcastic or not. :)

Assuming that Covert Agent = T. Rallis, what would be his agenda behind making it look like "the Nix are over"?

My only guess is transfer commissions.

Tony Rallis is this Covert Agent and he has an agenda. Normally what is best for him and who he manages and not for the clubs that he speaks too.

Remember when Tony Rallis (also Ramon's agent) also used his "Covert Agent" anonymous identity to misrepresent Ramon's qualifications and claim he almost had his Pro licence? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

100%.

Remember this is the same Rallis who has tried to shoehorn Ramon into three A-League clubs and an All Whites gig all the while misrepresenting his clients qualifications...

He's about as honest as Lance Armstrong, there is always a personal agenda.

No it's not. It's very easy to argue against.

The FFA would lose millions they don't want to lose, by all accounts Rob Morrison talked up next season's plans and the Academy future at the awards last night.

Are you propounding the club has a plan? Surely the body of evidence makes that an impossibility.

It's pretty clear they have a plan which involves developing players to offset the fact that they can't spend big on marquees. It seems to be working but maybe not fast enough.

So what we have is the football media amplifying the voice of a dude who's deliberately telling porkies for personal gain because it makes good clickbait. And this is why 21st century journalism has a bad reputation.

Maybe - I haven't looked at the stats, but the Phoenix had a hard tack by saying that they wouldn't focus on kiwis at the end of last season which may have caused it.

When WelNix bought the club they talked about developing young kiwis as the best way to be competitive, they setup the academy, and this year we've had Ridenten, Singh, and Cacace having breakout seasons. Greenacre has also said recently that he thinks there's a few more who are ready to step up as well.

That seems to me that they had / have a plan that's being executed.

Yes, he was correct in the fact that he was clarifying that he was calling bullshark. The bullshark part wasn't correct.

Do you have a proper answer?

Yeah, I took a look (it needs a bit of work eh?!) but I unless I missed it I couldn't see anything there that said he was the covert agent
