I think Caceres has settled in here more than other clubs, which doesnt make sense why he wants to leave.

Could have something to do with sitting on the bench each week while Bertos continues to get regular game time despite a fairly prolonged period of poor form. Will it be any different next year for him next year and it's not like he hasn't performed when he has been given an occasional run

Caceres has only spent a year at pretty much every club he has ever been at

No arguments from me if Caceres moves on. He's got talent to burn but the attitude isn't there.

Well news to me he wants to leave, I had a chat to him today weather he was talking sh** or not is another question but when i asked him if he is re signing next season he said that he wanted to but the Club hadn't offered the poor bloke a contract.

Read the other day the club aren't doing any negotiating at the moment, so maybe thats why he hasn't been offered one. Leaving the team to concentrate purely on finals football.

Remember seeing him play for the Nix in a pre-season game in 2008, and was very impressed.

Yeah, good young player getting a chance at the Nix 18 months ago, he'd have been given his chance at NZFC level you would think, seeing how the NZFC sides develop young kiwi's and the Phoenix don't.

Hmmm Aloisi would be quite good considering his form this season.Especially on a short term contract with squad wages. Hopefully Ross can put in a good word for us?

yes spragg is a fantsatic player, i have seen him abit. I would love to see cameron lindsay sign from blackburn or the other boy from rangers forgot his name sign but i dont think they would come back. For me they were the stand outs in that under 17 team in the world cup for me

Think we can do better. Alosii has been good but I still think he's on his last legs.

Aloisi may be playing ok...but i think he's on his last legs and may want a lot more money than he's worth

I agree but if it was a 1 year deal and relatively low wages then it would be ok

What Kiwis might be a useful and possible addition to the squad next year?

How's Duncan Oughton doing? I know there's a lot of Barron love out there...

Any other kiwis you think we might be able to entice back who could push for starting places? that would be something of a good option for them too...

personally I think we should try to sign C. Barbarouses from Brisbane...

Pretty sure Oughton signed an extention at Colombus and he's well and truly settled there.

Wrong Barbarouses. Sign G. Brabarouses from Wairarapa

He is the highest paid A-League player supposedly. He is definately not worth it. I would not want him here at all.

Theoklitos is free now, so he should go to Sydney and Reddy stay here. Please.

He didn't last long at Norwich. Good keeper, had a howler first game and let in 7!!

Zane Sole is another good young player for a youth contract maybe.

Few others are:

Andrew Milne at Rangers
Cameron Lindsay at Blackburn.

Though, they'd be unlikely to want to leave quality clubs that will develop their game.

We need players from the AFC so once we are able to play in the Champions Leage we at least have a squad

We can form a pretty solid team with the 3 imports rule is it??

Assuming Reddy stays with us.

                                                   Reddy
Hearfield                  Durante                     McKain            Lochhead
                                                  Muscat
                                 Lia                           Diego
Ifill                                                                               Caceres
                                                  Greenacre

That's still a very solid team. With Lochhead, Ifill and Greenacre the imports.

Does Diego have Aus citizenship as well? I only though he was Brazilian-American. If not, that's 4 imports

Also - subs.

why support a team that would only have one kiwi player...certainly no incentive for terry to be wasting his hard earned
