its frustrating cause im in ChCh for my talent centre thing and i arrive on sunday(the 10th) and the camp starts on the 11th so i wont get to go

If it rains then it won't be in the square, it is moved to Action Indoor Sports. Forecast is for rain too.

As did I.  Had a yarn with Tony as well.  Good blokes they all are.  Got a few things signed and some posters to hang up at work.

Wanted to play 5-aside with them but they kept picking little kids.  And for the record all the kids were crap (lol - bitter, yes).  Though Siggy played keeper in it and pulled off a double save and then leapt up to try and save a third shot and smashed his head on the under-side of the bar.  I lol'd and he was fine.

I was working but I work close/in to the square although I only had a quick lunch break and just had a look, wanted to shake Ricki's hand but he kept talking to this one suit then had to sit down for another signing session.

Not a bad turn out though. Disappointed I didn't see any Retro Ricki's, although a few 'Pool fans.

Yep I had a retro on.   Took the kids they had on there shirts, caps etc. Kids enjoyed the great autographs and meeting them up close. Wouldn't happen in the UK or Europe. Great two hours.

Something to check for season ticket holders:

When you get your ChCh tickets check that they say Yellow Fever - I got mine a couple of months ago (and asked for YF Zone) and I just realised they only say GA Deans Stand. Called ticketek and they are going to send me replacements.

I think that the only stand they are selling is the Deans stand.  Perhaps there is a section that is just Yellow Fever tho you are right.

Would be great for ChCH to have a big crowd - it will help the team in an unfamiliar ground.
 
I will be watching on iraqgoals and will judge if ChCh fans are pastier than Wgtn fans @ 80 mins.

Canterbury rugby team's Air New Zealand Cup final in November only topped 11000 at AMI.         If that is correct 11000, rugby will be easy meat to top. I would think close to 18k is viable for this game.

Sorry, forgot this. Sure three games would be great, but lets be realistic. One preseason and one A-League would be great at Christchurch.  I'd be happy with that, so the Welly's don't crap down my neck.
