I presume that's with EFTPOS card in hand so that you can buy your ticket at the gate?

Yellow Fever Southern Chapter Pre-Match Drinks
I'm still in the process of organising this but it would appear that The Longroom will once again be the venue for the pre-match drinks for next month's Nix game in Dunedin (Wednesday 14 December 7:30pm).
They currently aren't set up for meals but this is something which is already in planning and may be in place by the night.
If anyone definitely wants to dine at the Longroom on the night before the game then please let me know ASAP and this can be arranged.
The Longroom will be familiar to many of you as an awesome bar right beside Forsyth Barr Stadium where we had the pre- and post-match function on August 20. It will be a great place to meet before the game and distribute tickets to people that are purchasing in the group booking I'm arranging (see a few posts above and PM me ASAP).

LAST CHANCE for discounted tickets in the heart of the Zone - $23 adults, cheaper for non-adults. PM me NOW if you are interested because the booking closes in the next few days.
In other news - LONGROOM IS GO
Drinks from 5pm, ticket collection from me at the venue. Good times. Some food will be available but if you want a "meal" then let me know in advance to try and arrange with the caterers.

Great stuff! Do you have transfers arranged? There is a large group coming from Wellington (see above) and if you need/want transport you may possibly be able to combine with them if the times work out. Let me know if you want contact details.
FINAL CALL for tickets in the Fever group booking. I will be finalising the booking with Stadium soon.

Hi guys,
Sorry to invade your forum but I'm a Roar fan that is making the trip to Dunedin for this game. I've been to Wellington just the once (when we were sh*t and you beat us 2-0 at the caketin - even with Liam Reddy playing for you!!!!)
It looks like only the North and South stands are up for sale so I have no idea at all where to buy tickets for. Any advise on this from you is very welcome.
Some of you may know my mate Keith (our resident garden gnome) but he isn't coming over for this game. I'm sure he will be in Wellington for the game in February.
Anyhoo your advise is very much welcome, I'm spending the week in Dunedin because I've never been to the South Island before.
Oh and if any team stops our unbeaten record, I would rather it be you guys rather than any of the other Aussie teams. I've been to every away trip possible and Phoenix fans are awesome!

Oh and just to add, I lost everything in the floods last January including the Phoenix scarf and Four Kings t-shirt that I had, so if anyone is keen for a scarf swap, I'm keen as mustard to do so!

Hi and welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear of your loss in the flood. Damn. Hope you can find someone to swap scarves, etc. Sorry but I don't have a Nix scarf at the moment to swap.
I'm one of the Dunedin resident Yellow Fever supporters and can help you with anything Dunedin.
Do you have accommodation booked already? If you don't and will stay 2 nights or more then check out the Southern Cross special rate we've arranged for travellers to the city - $103.50 including local taxes per night. Let me know if you want any more details.
With regards your ticketing - give me a few hours and I'll contact the Stadium for you and get you a more definitive answer. In August there was an away fans area and my understanding from officials was that this was happening again. However you are right - the ticket direct website doesn't have anything on it.
If you want to join us in the Yellow Fever Zone let me know haha.
I will come back to you later this morning but in the mean time if you want to get in contact with me just PM me some details and then at least we can be in email contact.
How long are you in New Zealand for? If you prefer not to "roam" on your mobile and pay huge fees, be aware that for $5 you can pick up a local "2 degrees mobile" SIM card which will work in any GSM 900 phone. That comes loaded with $1 credit and minimum topups are $20 onwards.
Anyway get in touch and I'm more than happy to give advice and if I have time then meet up and show you around a few places.
Cheers,
Ahmad.

Hi I have been in touch with the stadium ticketing staff and can advise the following:
Sorry to invade your forum but I'm a Roar fan that is making the trip to Dunedin for this game. I've been to Wellington just the once (when we were sh*t and you beat us 2-0 at the caketin - even with Liam Reddy playing for you!!!!)
It looks like only the North and South stands are up for sale so I have no idea at all where to buy tickets for. Any advise on this from you is very welcome.
- A "Roar Fever Zone" has been created in the SOUTH STAND LOWER in aisles 304 and 305
- To book in that region you will need to get lucky on the online system or PHONE to make a booking - you won't be able to specifically request this area on the online system because that works on a "best available seats rating system"
So basically it seems that a lot of the general public could end up seated in this "Roar Fever Zone" possibly inadvertently (although the expected crowd means it's not going to be a big issue).
I've been "1st in the queue" on the phone to Ticket Direct for 5 minutes now. It's incredible the number of times I've been "1st in the queue" and waited for AGES on the phone to Ticket Direct. Perhaps they only have 1 person operating the entire call centre?
Ok got hold of someone after being "1st in the queue" for over 10 minutes minutes - they have advised that most of aisle 304 and 305 is actually already sold out (305 entirely sold out). So either we have hundreds of Roar fans coming for the game, or indeed locals have been purchasing in an apparently away fans region.
I was advised that you can call Ticket Direct Australia on 1300 798 550 which connects you to the NZ office and you can arrange a booking in the away fans area. But from the sounds of things you'd have more fun joining us in the Yellow Fever Zone? (bring your flares).
If you have a way to deposit funds into my NZ bank account, I am more than happy to get you cheaper seats in our group booking ($23 NZD per person). Just let me know asap.

Remember those signs the Roar fans held up last week that said '36' on them? Well I was thinking we could make our own versions of those signs, with a big 0 (or 1 if the Heart don't beat them last week) as a way to remind them their streak is gone. Thoughts?
A few examples here:
