"We have other offers from Waitakere United and Wellington Phoenix. But those matches are yet to be confirmed.

Ba will kick 7 shades of shit out of our players just like they do every other game they have played. No thanks.

Hmmm? Didn't I hear somewhere it was going to be free? Never mind, I'm going anyway. Who else will be there to form a Fever Zone, or will I have to shout down the Knitting Circle all on my own?

To Phoenix season pass holders and club members with proof.  Hope ACFC have factored this in.

only a couple of weeks away, then a game a week for three weeks
depending how fussy you are on what constitutes a decent pre-season game

The build up to the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season continues with a full pre-season schedule now confirmed:

  • Wednesday 21 August, 7.15pm – WPX v Western Sydney Wanderers @ Lily Homes Stadium, Sydney.
  • Saturday 24 August, 4.30pm – WPX v Newcastle Jets @ Rockwell Automation Park.
  • Saturday 14 September, 2.00pm – WPX v Capital Football Central League Selection @ Weka Park, Kapiti.*
  • Sunday 21 September, 2.30pm – WPX v New Zealand A @ Rotorua International Stadium, Rotorua.*
  • Saturday 28 September, 2.00pm – WPX v Auckland City @ Kiwitea St, Sandringham, Auckland.*
  • Sunday 6 October, 2.00pm – WPX Intrasquad training game @ Venue to be confirmed.**

Don't forget the closed-door game against the Bling on September 7.

Has anyone any idea where this might be played? Might try and climb the fence!

No All whites - No keeper. No wonder they are closing the doors.

A lot of players gonna be out for us.
Moss, (Spoonley) Siggy, Dura, Bertos, Brockie

Probably our best best starting XI:

                    ????
Fenton  Adams  Boxall   Caira
              Lia    Muscat
               Hernandez
   Ifill                             Kenny
               Huysegems

Isn't too bad I suppose, although probably will be a few yoof players in there so doubt we'd put the above team out.
Any ideas for keeper? Is Basalaj still here?

How fortunate! I'm sure I read that we were expecting not to have him for the season opener.
Phew. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play.
