Am I the only one putting Bathurst before the Nix? My excuse though is that I don't live in Wellington otherwise I would watch the race until game time. I will be in Napier though. Ticket already obtained.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

can someone positively confirm what time the game will be according to Central European Time UTC + 1??
I will be in Liechtenstein on the weekend - and don't even get me started on how pissed off at the fact that the Liechtenstein national team is playing two qualifying games away from home in a row - so I won't be able to go watch them!! [If you think it's weird, read Charlie Connelly's "Stamping Grounds].
Anyway, according to my calculations, the game will be on at 6am (13.10.2013) - can anyone confirm this pretty please??

Hicks and Spoonley on 3-4 week contracts, McPeake and Watson on one week contracts. No Gulley, Merrick said he wasn't ready.
Car racing. I honestly could never understand the appeal. THRILL as the participants turn left repeatedly!

Queenslander 3x a year.

Harsh on gulley. Adams out of position there and shermy who doesnt sound flash. Guessing gulley did something wrong
That's a bit of a surprise when you consider that every man, dog and media hack had Gulley as a certain.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
Definitely sounds like it. 'Not ready' is probably a little ambiguous when you consider that he has played significant minutes there this season. Either Ernie has tried to give him bulk minutes in the hope a lot of game time gets him up to standard or (the extremely less likely) something has gone wrong in the last week for him injury, conflict whatever...
Grumpy old bastard alert
Adams is not a solution at full back from what I've seen.
Anyone got TAB odds yet?

On the Au Four Four Two podcast this morning Merick said that Iffil and Cunningham are injured.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Boyd maybe. But would say Ifill will be starting ahead of Watson.
guess someone else has fished out this gem on Hernandez:
"He's lost 4kg and I saw him tackle the other day. I had to put it on replay because I wasn't sure but he definitely tracked someone and put in a tackle."

Would Sunday please hurry up and arrive. This adrenaline rush is going to kill me!! Really pumped for this season and hope things pan out better than last year. Looking forward to seeing Ernie's chosen style of team play. NO MORE ROUTE ONE !!
Another match preview to sink your teeth into....

Hate to admit it but i'm struggling to see anything but a Roar win in this match. Nix gonna need a miracle to come away with any points.

First up games can go any which way regardless of pre season form. Whatever the result this is the most positive I have felt about the team for a good few years now. If the weather holds and we get a good walk up crowd, I reckon it will be enough to get the result. Cmon the Nix !
I asked Jason Pine on twitter about RB slot:
@chemikills I'm hearing Adams, but not 100% on that
