Season Tickets - Clusterf**k Edition 2013/14

Well done, sir! Just got my club membership and sent application in for a supporters cell. The A-League does get media attention here as it is one of a few leagues people bet on and a couple of games a week are televised on Cable TV.

A supporters cell?  Sounds a bit more than what was intended!

Can someone tell me if you buy the six game flexi pack do you have to state what games you are going to immediately or can you get your ticket to the first one and then make up your mind after that?

this things confusing as fuk. Just jumped on the website to buy a season pass but theres no option for just 1 season ticket. all it has is 1 adult+2kids, child 16years and younger, family, phoenix lounge. what gives? I dont want either of those options, just 1 adult.

pretty sure you have to nominate which 6 games you are going to, i looked at it as an option then decided just to get a season ticket even if i cannot make all the games

I noticed the same problem so just phoned them. I got the lovely Mya who didn't realise the single adult option wasn't on there but went through the process and got new season ticket for $175. She also confirmed the pack will include a scarf - woo hoo!! and that we should have our passes before the season starts. Heres hoping.

Anyone want to swap an Ifil, a Leo and a Moss for a member's pin?

Didn't end up renewing (although will just buy a new ticket anyway) due to the website issues. Helpfully though, David Dome sent me a letter which I received yesterday telling me I had till 5pm on Sunday 12th to renew...

Technically you are still renewing, just not guaranteed to get your seat from last season (but highly likely I'd say).

So now that it is on public sale - is there any hype, marching bands, cheerleaders, ads, posters etc?

Yeah, not bothered about the seat as I never actually sat in it once for the entirety of last season! Will make the purchase later this week.

Looks as though through mentioning the problem you've had it fixed. I just checked the website again and theyve added the single adult option.

42,000 have had direct maketing to their computer, which is better than the dominion ads - as most on here do not see them during the season.

I haven't seen anything. I think it needs to be publicised more as not everyone comes onto this forum and this is the first time I have bought a season ticket as living in Palmerston North, I can't always make it to every game but at $175, I'll still be making on the deal if i only come to 6 or 7 games. It should be targeted at more people like me at that price. Especially fans in Wellington who may not go to all games.

I get the Ticketek newsletter e-mail and haven't seen anything on there about the early bird deals.

That's very good to hear, although probably about this time last year we didn't know if we were going to have a club in Wgtn.

JD and Doloras were going at each other like a long-married couple.  DomOnion Post was going at it without fear or favour (the c*nts). The Ring of Dirt was expecting a cheque in the post.  

And Term-X had just created a YF meme involving a deity's weeping son.

So I hope we are well on our way to a "bumper membership season" and hope to see lots more publicity about some exceptionally great prices (for an exceptionally Welly-tastic, triffic bunch of lads.  Can beat anyone on their day, you'd want them in your team etc etc).

42,000 facebook likes does not translate directly to 42,000 impressions. The club needs to be posting frequently about the memberships to ensure more and more people know about them.

Sales already well up on last season.  Marketing to come.

Ordered season pass and club membership over the phone today. No issues at all, cant wait.
Although ticketek were bit suprised with orderering both - almost put me off getting club membership aswell advising I would just "get double of everything" ??

I got the e-mail from Phoenix - unless you click on it and then read the link etc, you won't know it's only $175 for a season ticket until 31 August. I 'like' the Facebook page and I am not sure I've seen anything about season tickets (not saying it's not there) and I am on Facebook far too often.

Not enough is being made of the bargain prices IMO.  Maybe we'll see something in the next few days.

Would it be possible to embed a live countdown like this on the home page? I have no idea if that is a realistic request but it would be a cool touch.

We seem to have lift off- well, ar least my credit card statement tells me so. I was dissapointed (although not surprised) at what a cock was made of the online buying- the webiste is/ was a nightmare. However, when I phoned they sorted it out pretty much straight away, and we appear to have our previous years' stands. Do we need this shite every year? I don't think so. It's a shame the Phoenix can't just employ a dozen people every year to sort it directly.

Thankfully the process was super easy because I did it over the phone. If anyone else is still to register - go over the phones for sure.

I have purchased membership, in early August. havent seen anything apart form an entry in my bank account. When will something come ?????
