Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'd make a pun, but I don't feel like going out on a limb to do so.

At his wedding they didn't have a buffet, only finger food.....

If at his wedding he got drunk, would that make him legless too?

A Sun reporter was at a media conference for Sir Paul McCartney. He asked Sir Paul, "After the divorce is final, will you get legless?"

Sir Pauls response was a banging down of his hand on the table and he said "For f**ks sake, her name is Heather!"

A couple of things about Kevin Phillips...
1 - he's currently on a little over $20k/week.  WBA had to outbid Sunderland to sign him last season and gave him a very tasty contract to get him to sign.
2 - he's settled in the midlands, the other deciding factor in his move to WBA rather than Sunderland was that he wouldn't have to move his wife and kids.
3 - he thought he was finished when he got injured earlier this season.
4 - if WBA get promoted they'll almost certainly release him.  If they don't they'll offer him a 1 year deal on reduced cash.

I'd say the chances of him joining Nix are slim - there's a lot of clubs in the midlands who'd probably offer him good terms for the next couple of years (Coventry, Wolves, even Walsall - especially if they go up this year).  Still, never say never.

I can guarantee that Wolves won't sign him, under any circumstances.  Nothing is definate in football - if you signed Don Goodman, you could sign SKP. Walsall won't be able to afford his wages depends how ambitious they are if promoted, Coventry may if they can sort out their takeover, but he isn't really a Dowie sort of player. If they lose Mifsud, they'll need a little man to feed on the scraps.  I think the odds are that he'll stay at the s**t, whatever happens to them concerning promotion to the prem. Very probable - think he'll retire at the end of next season myself

Who knows?  Pity it didn't work out for him - we (Sunderland) really held him back in the last 2 years - failed to give him any kind of midfield to work infront of.  If he had left in 2001 he could have stayed at the top level for years.

I'm going to pass on the offer.

But while we're on the subject of time, the QPR player that has been mentioned on this thread wouldn't get a job as a clock...

I get it now, sorry lads, I don't use wikipaedia. Wild Things is past his best but still gives 110% - Reminds me of Cov's. Gareth is in a band too as the lead singer and they're quite popular amongst the London Scene.

f**k it!  It sounded like we lacked guts 2knight - so this QPR guy has twisted my arm.  He must have plenty of ticker to survive the rigors of playing pro football with one arm tied behind his back.

ARRRRGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: For sunday - go 'crisis of cofidence' Adelaide.  Pull through please!!!!

Already, Gareth's missus has bought him extra pairs of shorts in anticipation of the a-league summer season.  Stubbies apparently.

His most admired person: Admiral Nelson.  Favourite movie: Finding Nemo.

But I have a feeling he maybe a little 'one-armed' about this though.

I think that the original point of this thread might have got a bit lost. Hope whoever started the thread doesn't get up in arms about us hijacking it....
