looks like this is going to be one of those nights where we are just incredibly sloppy and flat. i'm still amazed at smiths exclusion, it's beyond anything why he isn't in the team. My god Brown is incredibly retarded.

Really, I'd say getting beaten on your near post is always wrong, look at his movement before the goal, he can't decide where the f**k he wants to be.

Ugh ... same old crap when playing away. I honestly dont think we're ever going to finish higher than 4th. This form just cant be fixed. Its the same form that traveling teams here suffer from.

Again on the run of play we don't deserve to be down, but we are. Same old story on the road this season. Solid performances, but 1-0 (etc) losses.

So a couple of minutes after comments were generally positive about our play (jinx-level) we are suddenly "sloppy and flat".

I know, I know, its serious!

Vidicic should never have got that shot off, our midfield are so f**king slow to get back on the counter, they dont even sprint, just casual jogging

2 years ago, Bertos would of been away from the defender there. now he has a 2 meter head start and ends up cutting back... completely lost his pace.

We are getting outnumbered in attack, they had 8 defending against 4 of us. We need the midfield coming through quicker and giving options.

We'd be up 2-0 by now if Smith was playing.

F**K i'm over this sh*t from us away from home. We'll be lucky if we don't concede another goal. We can't score and the jets game seems like forever ago.

I dont think its so much a lack of pace as it is either stupidity or a lack of confidence.

So often he actually beats a man, then cuts back and has to try beat him again. Its bloody annoying.

Paston would have told a hysterical knock knock joke and we'd have a clean sheet so far too.

He has enough pace, his biggest problem is slowing down or stopping when hes running at players. he hardly takes anyone on anymore, needs to take a leaf out of the Rojas book, he can do stepovers and sh*t, he just doesnt do them. He seems to have lost a bit of confidence

This is why I like Smith in the middle, he provides another attacking option and has so much more depth than Brown or Lia, Brown is capable of popping up with goals but he's not a creator and he sure can't take a man on. With both Lia and Brown we just look horribly defensive and they can't even do that well.

It's pretty fun too. I've got to say. This really is awful though (minus the first 15) you've got to agree.

We haven't been bad, we get more ball into the box, but the opposition has far more clear-cut scoring opportunities. Dilevski should've scored there for instance.

We're camped in our own half, have no midfield, our defence is getting split wide open down the middle, when we do manage to attack down the left our crosses are going for goal kicks.

We can play better. We are only 1 down, so hopefully we come out playing in the second half.

I just tuned in late after our visitors left and fired up the forum to see what I missed but all I see is the same old complaints (Warner too slow, Brown invisible blah blah blah).

All I'm saying is a little positivity would be nice to balance it out and maybe some objective observations.
