I think we should definitely get him. I've seen him play a bit and I'd go as far as saying his signing would be a coup for the Phoenix.

Saw him at training today. He is big.

Also, for those of you advocating it, you will be interested to know that Greenie played the entire training game in the midfield. Pulling the strings.

Aussie lad up front can finish.

Mike Eagar has less hair than Mike Greene.

Those were my major observations.

Intereting. Greeny as an attacking mid was thrown up, so very interesting to hear about. Maybe it is more due to the fact we are trialling a few strikers currently so we needed to get them playing in position.

Im bloody happy that this guy is trialling. The fact that he is here and having a run round means we do want to see guys before we sign them, which is important, and this guy seems good. Maybe talking to Smeltz and Jedinak gave him a positive outlook on the league?

Good the young aus is playing weel, is this the turtle? Or do we have another guy?

Sounds like he could be decent though. Think he was starting over Shane if I recall correct.

Its good the club are trialing guys like this. In previous seasons he would have been signed before he got here. If he wants to be here, then thats a great first sign.

Phoenix should sign Mehmet NOW. Don't bother trialling. This guy played in the SPL for years, got a move to Turkey, was apparently attracting interest from Hibs and Hearts, and is still only about 27-28 I think. He would absolutely improve the squad, no question.

edit - I should say I have actually seen the guy play and am not basing the above on mere speculation. Recall him scoring a winner against Hibs about 4 years ago too...
