I know it about as much as you know that Rojas is. We rely on the 3 coaches for that. Besides Rojas wasn't as great as everyone solf him to be this week. People seem to be falling over the latest new sub (Caceres) as the world beater and answer to the question why.
Since you appear to take the opposite position judging by your question, who would you drop for Rojas....
Because Hearfield runs with concrete boots...
Dude do you have an argument here because I'm not finding it hard to put counter suggestions at you which you respond with questions. I think your angst stems from a personal bias against Ricki. I can respect your feelings that 1 win from 7 is not great but you are emploring an approach of bringing down the whole foundation, remove the concrete and reset the pylons when really all we need is a new roof.
Your argument has no logic.

I might have missed something, but what do you know about Ifill being out for a couple of weeks?
I agree that wouldn't be good.

..it clearly aint working. A targetman doesnt only come into pay via longballs. Ifill is in that mould as he gets the ball feed to him wide and then he holds it up and playesr off and then uses it. Greenacre just runs all over and drifts so wide that he is often delivering or if he isnt he ait there anyway.
. It just isnt going to work without changing something. if Ifil is out then i cant see it getting better against CCM and the return against the Fury.A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

So the players are playing well its just all Ricki's fault that we don't win each week? This is team wide issue and its not even that big an issue. We can't finish, thats not a coaches fault but its not so forlorn to destroy the model and totally start over. We are dominating games.
Your advocating putting Bertos then Rojas up front?? I think you've just summed up your football IQ and your real bias (Ricki). You really are a small minded man and I'm done with this conversation. Talking to you is like pushing sh*t uphill with a pitchfork - pointless and futile.

I've never been a big Ricki fan, but I think he's doing a good job based on the good performances we have put in. Many games - or at least large parts of games I've been very impressed with how we have outplayed other good teams in the competition. We haven't looked out of our depth like I thought we have sometimes in previous seasons.

Big Jack for manager, Niall Quinn for Player/Owner. I'm sure Niall would step in for the horse racing sponsorship too. The beauty of this would be we could play at the stadium when they are relaying the pitch because we wont need the grass anyway! FFS

Pike certainly has the height for a target man. And Godfrey (Coveney) played two seasons for us.
Hallelujah agree with all that. Style of game is fine and entertaining, but every b***dy game we go off the boil in the second half and let sides back in. Don't know why - don't handle the aussies getting tight on us? get a bit up ourselves after a good half? Dunno, but it's a frustrating. Along with not nailing a second goal for that comfort buffer and (hopefully a thing of the past) giving up the early goal so we are playing catch up. progress eh - a different problem now.

It's good to see Greenacre recognised as a decent player. His work-rate and commitment is exceptional and am sure he has the right skills to put them in the back of the net if given the right service.

i think you've put your finger on it
