I drove by the ground earlier & saw there's scaffolding up in one part of the seating for what would appear to be a camera podium.

I'd be surprised if there were more than 600. Would love to see 2500, but not going to happen!

Really blew out in the second half there.

Good to see Wellington kick it up a gear and put in a really polished performance.

Not a TeeDubs supporter as such, but hope they can beat those smug bastards from ACFC in the final. Good luck!

Enjoyable game! It was encouraging to see a good turnout too given the weather.

Thoroughly enjoyed that game. Goals galore. Magenta didn't really threaten Basalaj apart from the goal but were just starting to see some quality possession now and then before the first red. The goal coming soon after and so close to halftime then killed the game. Magenta's indiscipline was ultimately their undoing but take nothing away from TW who were ruthless.

Really enjoyed the game too. Was actually impressed by Magenta's first 35' where they were still very much in the game despite only creating one chance. That red card killed their hopes. Great display by TW although I felt they could have controlled the game a lot better. Some sleek passing in the bu

Ok my app just exploded so I'll keep it short. What dates have been set aside for the two legs of the final? When is the draw to determine who's home and who's away first?

Semi-final in Auckland is weekend of 29/30 April (likely to be the 29th as Central have match on the Sunday).

Semi-final in Wellington is weekend of 6/7 May (likely to be the 7th as TeeDubs prefer Sunday matches as local football is Saturdays).

Thanks Patrick. Going to look up flights and see if I can bring a couple of teammates along with me. If they are not keen, where do I find out about other YFers who are going up?

I never got to see the 2nd half coz of family commitments (to say I'm gutted not to have been there is an understatement) but please tell me Joel didn't get hurt in the red card tackle?!?!

Waiting with baited breath tomorrow to then book flights.  Cannot deal with a 26.5 hour round trip again (with 18 of them travelling).

End of an era.  Vinnie - It's over.

Good to see someone at has contacts with WCC. Maybe Sky could get in touch with OFC TV & find out how it's done?

Weather effected final crowd but 450 paid entries and with free kids, sponsors, OFC, Capital football, the head count was a little over 600.

Not bad for a wet Easter Sunday in Wellington. Big thanks to all who braved the conditions.

yep same, awaiting confirmation before seeing if it's viable.

2nd leg is in Wellington isn't it? Might be content just to take that day off work and go to that game at Dave F.

Allegedly
