Two homes losses in a row for Chelsea for the first time in 9.5 years...

I thought we missed Stevie early in the second, when they scored and piled the pressure on. Just needed his steadying hand a bit but the lads did well to hold off.
It's going to be such a tight season, all will be decided on goals. Who gets them and who keeps them out.
Bring on Citeh!
All of our of lads were great today. Team work.

I am trying to get a couple of tickets to a match at Anfield, as a favour to the guy who took me to see Ajax play recently. Does anyone have any ideas what the best way for me to get these is? I had a quick look at the website and it seems to only sell packages, and not just a single ticket, and I have already had to become an Arsenal member to get a ticket to one game there - don't want to have to do the same with Liverpool if I can help it.
Any advice would be appreciated. All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite

All well connected Reds who regular help put the feelers out for tickets. "Kiwi in need of tickets... etc".
Call the Stadium ticket office: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/travel/first-time-to-anfield/match-tickets Again, I've heard the "Kiwi traveller in desperate need of a ticket" has worked before.
John Corson is president, he's based in Dunners, should email him. How many people on here are members? Liking the new newsletter? haha

I'm sure there are loads of supporters out there that have one or two players in their team that they don't rate personally, but if they can turn it around good on them and the coaching staff.

Could well be our next captain, the more I think about it the better the fit appears to be.
Atm yes I agree, will be interesting to see if lucas is injured who fills in there and how they go.

Congrats to Cardiff and especially Palace though, big achievement from both of them.
Will be good to meet them in the final!

On Lucas, I raise my hand. I wasn't convinced in the early days but fortunately the kids got balls and he's proved me wrong. Don't mind saying it at all and now I'm as loyal as any. Lucas is boss. He's going to be missed more than we know and wouldn't be surprised if he's out for the season we'll go shopping in Jan.
It looks like we play Citeh 3x in Jan, 2x FA Cup, Stoke and Wolves. Feb is Spurs, United, Everton, Aresnal in row or something crazy like that.
Lets hope spearo can step up to the plate, he's more than capable imo (I assume thats what will happen?)...we may even see Stevie playing a defensive role when(if) he returns.

On Lucas, I always backed him, mainly because when he came over he was Brazilian player of the year, U21 Captain and mentioned as the next star of the Gremio line after Ronaldinho.

Edit: just saw the stat that since the beginning of the 2010/11 season you have won 48% with him starting and 29% without.
Could be a tough month or so until you get in a proper replacement. And I don't mean recalling:
