Fecking embarrassment. Finishing and defence absolute gash, long long way off the quality required for 4th.

We're almost as bad as Arsenal.

Hopefull Ab's and nix will cheer me up tonight, will be good to support teams with balls. No homo.

soo many chances huh? Hit the post 3-4 times? Agree, these are games we will regret at the end of the season. great to see stevie g start though

We are lacking a real commanding presence at the back, worrying stuff whenever the opposition attacks.

Suarez also had 11 shots today - Build up play 9/10, finishing -5/10

Loving the Liverpool facebook page shout out to the All Blacks!!!

Very interesting stat:

Hodgson: managed 31, won 13, lost nine.
Dalglish: managed 32, won 15, lost nine.

As for 'almost being as bad as Arsenal', I'll let that comment slide until we overtake you on the table in the next month or so.

Why won't the ball go in the net?

Here's another interesting stat. Before the Norwich game at the weekend, the same time last season we were in the relegation zone.

I don't have the figures for this either, but I can almost guarantee we have had more possession and shots on goal under Kenny than Woy.

Of course there is the monumental amount of difference in what we've spent under Kenny, but we look like a team on the up which was something that could not be said about our performances under Woy. We attack, and even though we let in silly goals, and our finishing is woeful (helped by playing against some keepers who decide to put in a world class shift against us), I know who I would rather have in charge and I know which way I would prefer us to play

Roy had Europa league qualifiers etc...

Fair points - statistics often only ever tell part of a story and I was genuinely surprised to see that one.

What's the plan for Stoke chaps?

Carroll up front?
Suarez rest?
Bellamy/Maxi?
Coates at the back?

Reina Johnson Carra Coates Enrique Lucas Henderson Spearing Kuyt Bellamy Carroll

Downing, Suarez and Gerrard can have a rest. Bellamy and Kuyt on the wings firing into Carroll. Henderson Central, Maxi on in the second. Spearing or Adam, I'm not sure...

We need a big confidence boosting win here. Going to be tough though.

Huge test for us. Really want us to get through here.

Hopefully see Lucas back in there. Don't think Bellamy will play after the weekend. Would like to see Hendo, Coates, Maxi and Carroll given a go. Am torn between playing Suarez as we need him, and giving him a well-deserved break.

Quite excited for this one, although who knows what will happen

also, any news about the FA's investigation into Evra's accusations? All gone a bit quiet there...

Weren't they interviewing Suarez this week? Wouldn't it be almost impossible to prove? If Suarez did say something and went to a panel etc and lied. How could they find him guilty without some recording otherwise it's just he said she said blah blah.

I would really like to see Carroll given a start. I still am hoping for big things from him

oh my Coates...

not watching, just reading RAWK updates, but apparently an awful mistake  although apparently we are playing okay. finishing seems to be the problem again.

ah well, that's that then.

As you say that Suarez missed another he should of put away, he got clipped in the box through on goal as well but ref played advantage.

Great result! Suarez's goal  incredible. What a player he is.

Now, can we have a home game please! Preferably against the easiest side too, but I just want it to be played at home.

Coates actually played really well (mistake aside)
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Good to hear then. He's just a kid too, lots of time to learn. I like him a lot. Glad Kenny took Carra off at halftime too.

Speo > Adam.

Wo0t! Good game, we fought most of the way and got a deserved result for once. Everyone played well.

I asked Jr to pick his team last night for this one.
He had Coates , Spearing and Carroll starting. His reasoning-" Stoke is a hard place to go to , Dad.Full of big buggers so we need some too."
Me: " But Spearing isn't big" .
Jr : " Yes , but he plays hard and acts like a big bugger".
Couldn't have put it any better.

Only downer ; Suarez off injured. Hopefully nothing too serious , hard to see where goals are coming from if he's not around at mo'.
still , a good results lads. Well done.

Too early to say for Suarez. Suarez offers the team a lot more, Suarez offers those "how did he do that?!" moments. He's got more of a football brain and has much more fight in him. His enthusiasm is infectious. Tbf to Torres though, he was a battler the first couple of years, but the constant kicking and injuries got him down.

But Torres was unplayable on his day, and at times simply held us together.

They both have/had great songs too.

Still, what does it matter? We've got Luis Suarez now and thats more than enough for me!

Love you wee man's quotes! Very well educated!

Suarez goal was class class class! Such a shameful nutmeg too! Taxi! Had to come off sooner or later, despite his poor / unlucky finishing against norwich, he was looking so sharp!

Good away win, suarez was superb once again!

Thought carroll started to look alright after he got his goal as well, bit of confidence makes a big difference because in the first half he was rubbish. Finally signs of the potentially magic partnership with suarez up front.

Good win, happy to see Carroll doing better. Also enjoyed Le Arse revival against 'Ski.

Saw this article on BBC, quite interesting, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15470953.stm

Torres really does look like a lady boy now days...

Only a couple of points separate 5 of us fighting for 3/4 spots. Need a good 3pts against Swansea as it then Chelski and Citeh.

Oh and another away leg for Carling. At the Bridge which is actually good news. Guaranteed at least 5 goals... TheKop2011-10-31 08:50:02

Lui with a 12% scoring ratio! Similar to myself. Surely some of that is luck, which could be good news for the rest of the season. It's going to be very close for a champions leagues spot

Dayamn! This doesn't look like no infection...

Stevie G

Sounds bad about Stevie G. Think he's pretty much gone anyway. Would've preferred Palace at home, but that one was always saved for the mancs  not gonna be easy at the Bridge, but bring it on!

Suarez is awesome. Just awesome. Carroll played really well. How important is Lucas?! Was immense against Woy's boys. Loving Agger and Skrtel backline.

Enrique was an absolute steal, what a player. He'll be playing for Spain before the end of the season.
