Watching some of the services had me in tears.I was at Hillsborough(first pool game );worst day of my life at the time.Kenny was phenomenal after-the man walks on water for me.if he is staying then f...ing good job!!!
like El Nio,had to laugh at Kenny telling old Arsehole to piss off .
We did well to get a point with a fairly young team but if you're good enough you're old enough. As for Spearing,I'm starting to warm to him.

Sadly it was always going to happen. I hate the thought of handing #19 to the ---- but we also don't throw games. It's not the way we do it.

You are all so tragic.

Carra's all good. Apparently came too in the dressing room and was demanding to get back out on the pitch. Had to be told he got subbed...

Not sure what the rest of your post is about tho?

The man's brilliant, good old fashioned hard nuts!

Rest of my post...well I guess that's explained by 5 seasons without a trophy

Meireles gets the PFA Fans player of the year, which is nice to see, even if it doesn't really mean anything

Next season is the last for Adidas. $25m per season deal with Boston company Warrior. Part of New Balance apparently... A little bit sucky as I loved the Adidas range but at the end of the day the deal double what Adidas pay us. ---> $$$ <---

Was just about to post that.. Thats some pretty serious coin though, even if Adidas had some nice gears.

bugger I like adidas products too and their clever marketing campaigns, never heard of Warrior. But money talks!

Does anyone know if the rumours of a Mr Aguaero coming to LFC are based in reality or are they just the usual rubbish? Thoughts?

As in Kun? Rubbish. Don't see where he'd even fit in the team with Suarez in there, and its just the usual rubbish. At least we know one good thing: He's not going to Real!

I'm about as one-eyed as they come but good stuff by Meireles getting that award.  He's been quality this season.

Thanks LG, seems pretty harsh on Nasri not to get it, considering he won the award three times! But still, Raul is cool as f**k.

Without a doubt, the best thing to come from the Woy era- and even then he was played out of position so much!

Kenny talking up Aquilani as well. Either trying to push his price up/ force Juve to pay up, or is keen to have him back. Wouldn't mind either way, as long as we don't get ripped off. Always thought he was a decent player, and him + pass and move =

Re Aguero, he could replace Joe Cole who is not exactly tearing up the pitch this season? Personally, I just love the fella and would love to see him in a red shirt! Biased, but hey!

He's a forward, not a winger. Carroll, Suarez and Kun would be a sick frontline, but we need other players in other positions.

Mate, you think you love him, aha, you're talking to someone who used to be El-Kun ..... But we don't need him like Atleti do.

Maybe could mean Aguero?tomrewi2011-04-22 20:19:39

I really hope 'Warrior' make some good kits. As long as they keep it simple and have a good cut, I'll be happy.

I guess 'Warrior' see this as a start to creating a large franchise and using LFC as a marque signing. Because they only specailise in Lacrosse and Hockey gear and I can't find a site, I'd imagine they would've lost a few million website hits by not having one easily available.

5-0 vs Brum Maxi hat-trick  , even Cole scored

Just seen some very poorly edited highlights; the first 10-20 minutes with Raul at the head of a very attacking diamond was just sublime.Step up Lucas and Spearing- take a big bow lads, well played.Appararently our very experienced , senior fullbacks played very well , too

I haven't been able to find confirmation that the King had a substantive contract but surely no doubt now ?Oh , sign Clarke up long term too , please.

Aquilani- wouldn't mind if he stayed but only if he wants to and wouldn't play like a sulky little sh.t.He really is a quaility player and would fit in well with the style we're playing currently.

Talking of sulky little sh.ts , I see that he scored this morning.I was wrong about him- I thought he couldn't score in a London knocking shop but there you go.

Nice work lads! Broke the 4 goal in a game drought for the season.
Spurs faltered again with tough matches coming up. City with some work to do too. We're not far off if we can keep winning!

Kind of feel a little pleased for the Lady Boy, now we can all move on. Finally...

Some nice extended highlights here
http://www.hotscore.net/liverpool-5-0-birmingham-city-highlights-full-match-23-april-2011.html

Loved King Kenny's comment, as quoted in the Guardian, "I said he was lucky to be on the pitch that long," the Scot said when asked what he said when he substituted Maxi.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

Could we get 5th?! After this drama of the epic swindle Woy, and Torres leaving it would be unbelievable.

I'm positive the Aquaman won't come back, I think he is good enough but the stuff he is saying in the press is pretty negative towards Liverpool,.....well life in England really. We have his position pretty well covered though with raul and Gerrard.

5-0 is a great result huh

Been a bit quiet on the news front but this is pretty encouraging!

Pepe Reina
"I am happy, calm and comfortable here," Reina told the Spanish radio station Cadena Cope. "[I am] looking towards the future which I reckon will bring a lot of happiness and hopefully the new project with the new American owners [Fenway Sports Group] will be a convincing one.

"Obviously [Rafael] Bentez brought me here but that doesn't mean that I'm unhappy with [Kenny] Dalglish, quite the opposite. I think he's the ideal man for Liverpool at this moment.

"It's my understanding, and based on what I've gathered from the people here, that we will be bringing in some important players, continuing to grow and hopefully in one or two years we will be in the place that Liverpool deserves to be, which is fighting for titles."

Commons call for Kenny Dalglish knighthood

Thirteen MPs have signed a Commons motion calling for Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish to be knighted.

The motion was tabled by Liverpool Walton MP Steve Rotheram because of what he said was his "outstanding contribution" to British football.

Mr Rotheram raised the issue two weeks ago, on the 22nd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

The motion said it would be a "fitting tribute" to the families of the 96 fans who were killed.

Earned respect
Dalglish was manager on 15 April 1989, when the Liverpool fans were crushed to death at an FA Cup semi-final.

He earned gratitude and respect for the way he represented the city and club in the aftermath of the tragedy.

Dalglish, now 60, helped ensure the club was represented at all of the fans' funerals and attended many of them in person.

He resigned as manager of the club in 1991, but returned in January, following the departure of Roy Hodgson.

Mr Rotheram was asked by families of those fans killed to put down an Early Day Motion requesting the honour.

The motion, to be published on Wednesday, has been signed by Labour MPs Derek Twigg; Dave Watts; Maria Eagle; Alison McGovern; Russell Brown; Bill Esterson; Stephen Twigg; Luciana Berger; Louise Ellman; Joe Benton and Clive Betts, as well as Conservative MP Therese Coffey, a Liverpool supporter.

If Blackpool get relegated would that be good for us regarding Charlie Adam? Cause wouldn't he want to stay up in the EPL?

He will be leaving Blackpool regardless of where they finish.
