When will the authorities finally grow some balls and hammer this guy? Fining him is a waste of time with his millions. Sideline ban him for 20 games.

The ref wasn't as bad as the one at the Phoenix yesterday, he wasn't brilliant though. Wasn't a foul for the free kick, and then Drogba shoves Brown over as they score! At the same time Chelsea should've had a free kick right on the area if not a penalty for a shocking challenge by Jonny Evans. He lept up for a header and challenged Drogba by pushing his studs into Didier's chest! The ref then gives Drogba a yellow. So I agree with SAF that the ref was up to f*ck all, but I would never say the ref was to blame for our defeat.

The point is, is that every other EPL team also gets the same referees and not that many have complained about them - A different story from the A League refs.

I'm sick of saying this. The ref are sh*t, and when anyone speaks against them they get fined.

Sick of this bull crap. This guy and his assistant at the end should be fired quick prompt. I thought the least they would see in the offside. Utter rubbish.

SAF's record is wearing thin though, as I said in the Chelsea thread. He keeps on crying fire and now when your lot do get some rough decisions, no one really gives a sh*t anymore. SAF has bercome very predictable and boring with his tiraides. He is the creator of his own misfortunes which is a shame as everyone pretty much acknowledges his success with United is amazingly fantastic over the last 15+ years.

Having just rewatched the hightlights on the news, the biggest diver around really did get collected on the chest. Studs far too high as a minimal offence.

Having just seen the bit on the news about the game both teams should be f**king ashamed of themselves, grown adults and professionalt sportsmen behaving like 3 year old Twits. Absolute f**king disgrace and a blight on the game

You are right about the challenge, but the Big Girl made no attempt to go for the ball, only the player.
The most overated player in the EPL.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

That was a positive match, Fletcher's goal was a stunner. First half wasnt great, second was better.

LOL at the Arse as well. No beach balls this time.

Good strong performance today. Really dominated the game from front to back, but Everton were very very stubborn....especially in the first half.

Rafael played well and its good to see him coming back.
Evra was fantastic as per usual.
Midfield was very solid and barely put a foot wrong.

Onwards and upwards

LOL arse...
LOL liverscum and man sh*tty (although i picked draw on my oztips and jimungo!)

Agree with you about Evra, he is really playing fantastic at the mo. One of the very best left backs going round.

I would definately say the best in the left back in the world on current form.
You know we belong together...

Yea cool goal, but he didn't seem to catch it very cleanly, sort of came off his ankle.

Yea, we'll take it. Good to see LAV score again and all goals coming from midfield. Now Owen just needs to screw his head on and bang a couple as does Berba

No idea. Think he's back in training... with a couple of dead rubber Champs League matches coming up you'd think they would be a good option - but he's not even playing reserves yet I don't think.

Fletcher is a class midfielder now, and one of Anderson, Scholes and Carrick can play alongside him so it's not all bad. In terms of reinforcements I'm more worried about finding a left midfield player.

But yeah, wth Hargo, who knows.

Agreed ^^

Anyone got a gif of Fletcher's goal? Me needs one!

Fletch + Carrick always seem to run the game better for me. (E.g. vs City) I do believe Anderson doesn't fit in our style, he needs a different formation to work, perhaps a diamond or something. (Where he is the front man)

Hmm nah I'd rather someone who can score regularly at AM (if we did that, which we won't). If anything he could play deeper, pick up the ball, bring it through midfield and look for the passes. To me that's what he's good at.

Don't understand why SAF put out an understrength team. Win this and get top spot in the bag then next game play the kids.

I am sure you would.
Eight of the players that started would not play- looks like AF made a mistake. However we are through to the next round.

Since we lost 1-0 to Milan back in '05.

Meh.

Young guys should have stepped up, they didn't, and SAF  wll let them know. Still only need a point to finish top of the group, the match is away to Wolfsburg. Still expect them to do it.
