Final score 3-0.

Played ok, didnt really get going at all. Berbatov had a frustrating game, couldn't link with his team mates, assist aside. Wellbeck had some nice touches coming on

Well done on beating Wolves reserves

Three for me, and two for them.

Lol. 3-0, from what I saw probably should have been more.

Nice

Mick obviously didn't want to ruin SAF's 900th game for Man Utd.

Our reserves beat they're first team... and our first team only manages to put 3 past.

Oh well. I think they all played well, nice a patient, exactly how you have kill a smaller team. Wolves had like one shot in the first half, which was from a log throw.

the return of beckham!

AC Milan were expected to be lack-luster (inexperienced Manager, aging squad that appeared to look to an out-of-form Ronaldinho for inspiration).  Turns out that Leonardo can muster the troops, experience is a virtue, and King Ronny wants his kingdom back.  (They're sitting 2nd in Serie A, not far behind a much more fancied Inter.)

The return of Beckham will add some spice to the contest, and he will have an influence over the tie. Milan will be better for his presence at Old Trafford nzmanu2009-12-19 11:42:06

4 draws and 3 losses for a team like Milan in Serie A isn't to flash. Things like a GD of 6, while Inter is on 21. Relative, its not uber fantastic Milan.

I think Man U fans will give him an excellent reception and for the whole game. He's a legend. I'm expecting Scholes to take him out asap tbh.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

Its kind of relative though, the Milan most people know is a very successful beat Inter and everyone else all the timelast round, then take the top spot.

Not to get complacent though.Michael2009-12-19 20:49:32

so what are SAF excuses for the loss? all 3 goals the refs fault no doubt

I haven't been following the news closely over the last couple of days but someone must have slipped Sir Alex a sedative, for him to not blame a referee following a loss is unheard of!

Yeah, it must be so sh*t having to set up your team mates rather than hogging all the glory to yourself
