Wtf? Sakai gets the early card against his assailant and protection, but kick Kosta in the achilles after the ball has gone as you please.

Holy shark Perth are up for this one! All over them this first 15.

Too bad I've got work in 6 hours so I'm not sitting up until 2am for this one. Night folks.

You’ve had Uffie’s opinion. They don’t go that far back for other teams.

His take was they see if they can save some teams more than others. Curtain in the doorway? Hmmm

Merino might be a good player,  but his corners constantly suck hard.

Welcome to professional players play in humidity at 1am!
Auckland, you just need the alarming growth of smug drained, and then I might see clear go supporting you a bit …you can’t be winning this year and not with games in hand. Not like that…
And Corica was the face of Smug magazine’s smuggest faces smugfest so it might be tough while he’s still there too…

Wouldn't argue with 3-0 to Perth at half time.

Man this is confusing-
People I want to do well in this game are:
Mata, Sail, Pennington, Elliot

Neutral on a fair bunch.

People I don’t want happy after the game:

Brimmer, Risdon, Corica

I think I’d prefer a strong Perth win, with a late Mata consolation goal…I think…

Who should we hold responsible for that infuriating advertising that pops up whenever there's a replay? It's A-League right? Or is it sky?

I get random ads during play on YouTube! But not too many.

Perth starting to flag here. Need some reinforcements sharpish.

lol Gomulka is like a much worse Gillion. Head completely down, no vision. Works for him here as he barrels full steam into Coulibally getting the kid a yellow for his pains.

What a fudgeing result for Glory! Coulibaly sent off after coming on for his debut for bringing down Anasmo in a clear goal scoring opportunity for Perth.

No "we are top of the league" chants for the Port and AFC fans this weekend!

I’ll take it.

Fantastic save from the ex-Nix captain to deny a dipping May bullet from outside the area late on.

Unfortunately/fortunately Mata misses a sitter.

1-0 win to Perth. Pity we’re still bleeding keystone cops.

Feel like I’ve had this convo with RR before but Pearman looks like a real talent. That goal was some hit.

I'm not sure I've ever actually seen Max Mata actually... do anything?

Even in his Eastern Suburbs days.

Mata had a strong run in Ireland?

Scored at at least a goal a game at one point. Was prolific. Managed to get 20+ starts in league one, which seems difficult to do with these days!

Hmm, that Jonnyboi is a little quiet this week. Must be one of the 'sing when you're winning crowd'? 🤔

Just watching the Perth game back now. Strange game that one. Perth just wanted it more, especially in that first half - that's the best they've played in a hell of a long time. But on the balance of things Auckland should have got a point out of that, perhaps even all three.

With 5 points from their last 5 matches the pack has closed right back in.

Maybe after this result the media will stop treating AFC and Corica like the second coming of Jesus. They've been fairly average for their last five games or so. Although, they'll definitely still beat us in the last derby as we've been dire.

Honestly doubt he has seen the game - past his bed time I'd say.

The hype he was getting pre-season appears to be justified.

Mata's miss for those who haven't seen it

I'm not si sure they will. Their form has dropped and we know more about our strengths as a team now than earlier in the season. I'm picking a draw, perhaps even a Nix win

Auckland look the weakest of the top 5, so I'm guessing at a 5th place season finish for them.
I predicted earlier in the season that Sydney would drop away during the season because imo, Talay doesn't know how to make use of a 20+ man squad. But Joe Lolley looks to be so far and away the best player in the league, they should make the top 3.

CCM v WSW Womens game was delayed due to lightening!  CCM leading 2 nil in the first half already.

Jets 1 v Macarthur 2.  10+ minutes to go.

Sail’s kept well since I’ve tuned in. Keeps up his form he could be making a case for his AWs spot back.
Oh and that goal footage. Wow. Rare to say a keeper can take no blame, but that’s a spectacular oggie.
