2018/19 Season Memberships

I know it's fashionable to hate Declan, but this takes it a bit too far.

Context

WTF, No benefit in this, are the club actively trying piss people off?? Is this going to be the modis operandi for this season?? First it was $10, then $15, Now $20. At Forsyth and up in Auckland at my favourite ground - QBE - it is $10. Westpac Trust appear to be a continual bunch of friggen retards when it comes to looking after fans - unless you're a coporate sponsor. Absolute wankers and that goes for the new CEO too! Wake up ya bastards.

*sigh* Just when I thought I would be able to get away with buying one shirt every two years ?

Yep, definitely happened to me last year.

You guys are really putting me off buying a membership... :) Going to wait for those freebies I think. 

To be honest, so far the issues buy etc have only been with Ticketek (no surprices there) and not the Nix fault.

Trouble logging on, getting it to recongise renewal prices instead of new prives and credit card failing are all Ticketek.

Is this some sort of dig at LG? Because he stood up for something he believed in, and refused to bow down and suck up to the club - like you? Fudge you are arrogant.

No Boot Parties allowed at Westpac. The parking policy I think is regional council dictated to drive public transport. The council appear to take a blind eye to the 2 hr street parking limit West of the stadium on event days (Unless you piss a resident off) 

Had a phonecall about my membership today, so I signed up!

What can the club do though? They have to use Ticketek as the provider of choice (contracted) to Westpac, sure they can jump up and down and complain but really its the only provider they can use for the memberships. So unless Ticketek ups their game and gets a better system and customer service (Brenda was a god send if you were willing to pick up the phone) then the Nix are stuck with who they have got as the provider of choice to the stadium

Not sure how much the Club can influence Ticketek with the issues they're having? Problem would appear to be Ticketek's computer systems. I'm fairly sure Ticketek haven't turned to the Nix and said "Yeah, nah. Our computer systems are complete kack and the whole thing will be a disaster yet again this year". I'm also fairly sure that the Nix would be letting Ticketek know that they're less than impressed with the chaos. Again.

No problem lobbing grenades at the Club, when it's justified. In this case, I'm not convinced that it is.

You would think that having a long term relationship with Ticketek it would give the club some influence but having worked in roles where  have been a ticket agent, the companies like ticketek, ticket direct etc are very difficult to deal with and theres not much you can do - ie its the stadium that has the deal with Ticketek so the Nix have to use them. If they were able to go and use Ticket Direct or another company, you'd probably find Ticketek would up there game

Not to down play all this but I feel like we discuss this and how sharkhouse Ticketek is each season...

I for one demand a better ticketing provider and a break from this Ticketek monopoly!

I don't think Patrick was being too personal, more like displaying a very dry sense of humour - well that's how I took it. My point remains though, they are creeping up the price of the parking. I thought being an ST holder showed the club some loyalty, and it was always nice to have some sort of perk/incentive. Cheap parking underneath was one. Come on Westpac Trust, come to the party, make it $10 like everyone else.

FWIW, I suspect the Club are hamstrung by the fact that Care Park are the operators of the car park, not the Stadium. I'm sure they want the rate to be as low as possible too, but Care Park are acting like a normal parking company and acting like cnuts.

Oh well Patrick, that's less money for them as fans find that the competition across the road charging only $15 will be creaming it. What would they rather have? 500 cars paying $10 or 50 cars paying $20. Keep it cheaper and make a profit or keep it expensive and make a loss??

Still, $30 for non ST holders is the biggest wrought yet, considering my earlier comment about what other stadia are charging.

Do they, and that is memberships as well and not just match tickets?

If that is the case, maybe in future (If we have a future) Nix should be looking to move their membership list and requirements to another provider.

being able to park at the stadium when i was a season member was great for us out of wellington people could just rock up when you arrived in wellington have a car park and then after the game get back to your car and out of town heading for home. the other option would be get to wellington drive round for a while looking for parking then walk to the stadium then after the game walk back to your car then drive for a while to a motorway on ramp and then drive home, this adds extra time to the long drive home.

if they changed to another provider i would happily give them a try and become a member again, ticketek have mucked me around every season i bought a membership off them so not interested in getting a membership through ticketek.

When I hit the renew button, I get ...

"There are currently no past season packages available for renewal".

Anyone else get this?

It could be that my sign-on has got screwed up because of previous season fudge-ups, and this is a 'dummy' account against my email address. Possible, not sure.

I went back to the Nix email, followed the link again, and then if you scroll towards the bottom of that page, there should be a renew button there.

Phoenix membership numbers a tad behind the rest of the pack. Lets hope the numbers can at least get to a couple thousand. Everyone try and convince a friend, brother, sister, mister, missus, neighbour, teammate or work colleague to sign up!

Im holding off mine until I see where the three games are going and if we sign a striker. I don't know why though I know i'll get one.
