I truly think Adelaide will come over here and win. Unfortunately.

Ditto for the Fury and Sydney with their game in hand.

We are in serious danger of being over run by the teams lower than us. The last three game aginst teams around us only gave us 4 points......thats not enough. We could have been 5th....we now are looking at 9th by Xmas.
this is going to be a real dogfight.

This is starting to look depressing and that goal difference and the lost column is just not good enough. :(

pretty much 7 teams fighting for 5th and 6th place.  If anyone from the Nix reads these forums, get the players to watch the 6-0 game v GCU.  would like a repeat dose against Adelaide.

Would be nice, but it won't happen.

Ferk!
We are now 8th. Real lucky Sydney did not get a point last night or we would be 9th. Still real tight at the moment.....now is the time to get a win, it could take us to 5th. No need to panic yet but you can feel a little nervous. Its time for the revival to start....3 point s today please.

Unbelievably congested at the moment, that one win takes us up to 5th, hopefully a draw or GCU win in their game with the Heart at the moment as well to consolidate it.

much needed win in terms of the table - teams with games in hand are a worry

but the guts shown in the 2nd half might be the key to making the play-offs
Permalink Permalink
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
We've got to play all of the top-4 teams away from home in our final 11 games...so we'll have to bring our A-game to those.

Home fixtures against Tards, Newcastle (x2), NQF, Perth take on added importance... a 6-point swing.

Yeah, we still trending the bottom rung of the table, getting away from the other teams is going to difficult. Some teams still have to do their heavy playing schedule like Adelaide. So it is a good time to get in a winning run into the playoffs after just been playing a heavy schedule. The guys should get a bit of R&R after their recovery pool session.AllWhitebelievr2010-12-05 19:35:29

Another thing that makes me really happy about this win: two scorers, two Kiwis.

Love seeing Kiwis score, whoever they play for.

Nix games coming up

v GCU

v Jets!

v Fury

v Victory!

v Mariners

v Roar

v Perth

v Jets!

v Adelaide

v Fury

v Sydney

Opportunities to knock over Jets twice and Victory, who also play each other soon and are our big competition for 5th and 6th spots.  But we also play all of GCU, Mariners, Roar, Adelaide.  Step up for those and take points we are looking a good chance.
