What? No, Skippy's over in a corner hyperventilating about our inevitable wooden spoon placing and bankruptcy within 12 months.

Rojas replaced Daniel in the line-up. He is now a regular starter for the Phoenix and would be next year.

He will not be getting any better experience next year as he will be playing the same teams. Melbourne Victory got 2 more points over the entire the season. If you knew anything about football you would know that is not exactly moving on to great things.

Yellow Fever are rightly annoyed for complete lack of loyalty, moving on to better things in Europe we could accept. Moving to an equal rival is not that. Without Yellow Fever he would probably not be where he is now.

Well how about JordyBean wearing it then? I would pay good coin to see this.

I never heard about that. It was Middlesborough so it wasn't Roy Keane if that was who you were thinking. I seem to recall Ricki not overly happy about it due to timing so it doesn't really sound right but I guess it could be.

Btw, RG is right - Ricky recommended Lochy to Gareth Southgate in the pre-season of our season two, and there was much angst on this forum about it.
Pretty sure we all had a giggle about it

Yeah i remember a very small minority getting annoyed. The rest either laughed at the prospect or got excited that he may end up getting signed by them.

Bollocks. Most of you were wetting yourself that another Kiwi was going to sign for a prem team because it was great for the all whites. The "small minority" was pissed of that Ricki was hawking our players to other clubs. I was in that thread so don't try and act all "we knew he was never good enough". blah blah blah. Lochy was outstanding in our first couple of seasons and got a trial and even if he's not ever going to get there I certainly never wanted him to leave to benefit the all whites and not the nix.

It was the first serious club vs country issue that I had with Ricki.

The whole Marco thing is awful.  Worse than Smeltz leaving as we all  thought that Smeltz's missus had him by the balls when he left so we never blamed him.

This is up there for me. But he is 19 and that's a weird age for footballers, if he is gone then it's pretty sad. I reckon another year here playing in his role would have bought him more fame than where he's supposedly going.

Honestly I think it's Roddy pulling the strings here and Marco is just doing what he's told. Sounds like his dad got too caught up in all the media hype, got too big headed and proud and made a silly decision

Isn't the best part of his game beating his man* and whipping* a sexy cross in? I don't understand why he wants to play centrally, although AM is the coolest position in football...

Anyone that thought Locky was good enough to sign for Middlesbrough obviously has no idea the difference between the then A League and the standard in the Premier league.

Technically, it's Cosplay.  Unless you get off on the fact that you're dressed as an animal-type thing - then it's furry.  If you do get off on it, then, yeah, bad idea for the 'keeper to be distracted.

Could you clear this up?  We need to make a decision about the uniform asap!

Rojas DID jump ship way too early, he could've shown SOME loyalty at least.
Much like barbarouses, he gave the club 3 years and gave back his appreciation to
the nix...
it is a real shame, because without the nix rojas would've obviously have had the exposure.

No need for anybody to get aggressive or threatening tho, we're all adults and business is
business
Abit shafted however I do wish him all the best for his exciting future ahead

I'd love to be quoted saying something really really awesome, that everyone would look at and say 'that phoenix_luver person is one funny dude.'

I wonder if Grandadi can predict what on earth is happening with Rojas?
