It says he's extending it for three years yet only staying for another 3 when he already has another year on his contract so should it not be 4?
Either they didn't do their research, or it's a brand new contract for three years starting immediately.

This was asked of Terry in the press conference, it replaces the current 1 year contract with a 3 year contract.

GASP! All White joining the nix?
Who's it gonna be?
Did he say this?
I'm hoping for Elliottttt but expecting Ivan. Peverley has been in and around the team for a while too.
The reporter on Tv3 News said that Ricki was hoping to include a another member of the AWs and a high profile signing.
Oh, Dan Parker did the story.

I'm thinking Elliottt or Clapham (Possible even Killen) would be more likely than Ivan, purely because Ricki said he wanted the new centre back to also be able to cover left back just a few days ago.
You know we belong together...

Not Elliott. Sauce... https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/3915688/Phoenix-aiming-to-boost-squad-with-four-top-players/
"There's a South American player, an Asian player, an Australian player and a New Zealander," Herbert said, while ruling out nabbing Simon Elliottt.
"Not for any other reason other than I think Simon's intentions are to stay abroad."

So: Players were looking at -
An Asian player: should challenge for first team.
A South American: should challenge for first team.
An Australian: should challenge for first team.
A Kiwi: Not Elliott. should challenge for first team.
the players, we've got 3 bits of info and that is that they will all arguably be in the starting 11, were looking at a Striker, a Centre Back who can cover left back and a Midfielder(correct me if im wrong with this) and that its not Elliott. With that bit of info I doubt it is Peverly or Clapham, because personally I dont see either of them favourites to start. So for me its sounding like Vicelich and if not him, I know this sounds crazy but I think Tommy Smith is a chance if he doesnt get offered a contract in England, also because he didnt get much game last year and isnt certain to this year, so he would probally try and improve more under RH then have another go in England, also hes a Kiwi who can cover LB from CB but not him or Vicelich then its Killen for me.

I was also thinking Tommy Smith. Or maybe McGlinchey? I cant see it being Peverly or Clapham as it has been stated the reason they havnt released names on the kiwi is because hes still under another clubs contract (which effectively rules out Killen as well). Im pretty sure if it were one of these two they wouldve been released straight away and signed up asap. Theres no way their respective clubs would be delaying these two from signing for the Nix
Also Vicelich has stated time and time again that hes done with professional football. I would be mighty surprised if he were to sign.
