I like Tim Brown's haircut.

rojas, so special
Tim Brown's stats from Sat night:-
Mins played 88
Passes Completed = 9
Passes Incompleted = 8
Passes Received = 4
Tackles = 10
Missed Tackles = 10
Freekicks Conceded = 3
Freekicks won = 1
Watch a replay of Sat night's game, for 90% of the time he is missing, doesn't come short for the ball at the back, hides when we have possession or makes a half hearted attempt to receive the ball and chases shadows. Well out of his depth in midfield and as the stats show gives the ball away as much as he keeps it and misses as many tackles as he makes. Anyone that thinks he "does a job" is obviously happy with mediocrity.
Although as tigers said, some stats are a little subjective (unavoidable though), and yes it would be more compelling to see other players stats from that game, and other stats for TB through phoenix season (there's a job for you! :P )

The point I'm trying to make is Tim Brown is like having an ugly missus - she'll make you dinner, clean your car and give you a blow job every night but at the end of the day she's still ugly.

End of discussion

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I'd take the hot one.
What can I say, I'm a very shallow and superficial person.

I feel pretty sad for you.
going to all that effort to get stats of one player you hate and expect your word to be taking as gospel.
but who am I to say what you do when your watching the replay of nz's greatest sporting achievements.

I personally don't hate Tim Brown and don't expect people to take my word as gospel, just putting my view across that I think he's not as good as a lot of people on this forum make out and if I have to resort to stats to highlight it then so be it.
The one good thing about having an ugly missus is no one else wants to shag her which, for all you Tim Brown fans out there, probably means he will be a Phoenix player for a few more years yet.

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
TBH im yet to see why he deserves the criticism. Also I don't overly rate him I just give credit to a hard working player. shambles_Baby2009-11-20 11:55:35

Watching one player for 90 minutes in an attempt to gather stats to back up a less than glowing opinion of him is hardly obectively analysing a team performance though, is it?
So, you're then saying that it's impossible for anyone with ANY pre-existing opinion on any player to make any valid analysis of a player or team?

Such as Ferrante and Diego (could prove us wrong this week mind).
From some of the comments here it seems Ricki just has it way wrong.

Haha no, I think Ferrante has had his fair share of average threads.
