So it's not going to happen but Milligan would really give us a shot at the top 4. A line-up and bench with depth like this would make us a genuine threat to all teams, and the link up play and engine work of Milligan is integral to that. He's a right shark cod, but he could be our shark cod. Like Nichols. Jeez we really would be a team people hate

I think we'd be seeing Nicholls and/or Williams on the pitch and Singh taking over from Burns this season, so a "proper" centre forward would be useful. But rather than a big name, it may simply be a low-key backup to what we already have up front, unless Rudan has a name in mind and persuades WelNix to spend some real money on a success.
The attacking 4 (or 3, or 5, depending on how we set up) is probably too difficult to call at this point. I think the only real guaranteed starter is Krishna. Singh is young and isn't very physical; won't play every game this season and probably shouldn't. Burns is the kind of guy who can be the best on the pitch, or absolutely invisible - all about confidence and form for him, and when the chips are down for him it seems to really affect his game. Nichols and Williams are hard workers, remains to be seen whether they are more reliable than Burns and Singh. Either way, i don't think we will see a consistent first choice and second choice for the attack, I think it will be week by week fluid selections based on form and opposition. I agree though, I don't think we will see Nichols and Williams riding the pine week in week out, I just chose to put Burns and Singh as starters in the graphic. I think the difference in how good the players are between those four isn't really that much, which makes picking the team hard. great for depth though
