I worry for any of your past/future ex Partners.

A guy leaves your football team, and you want his legs broken. Are you for real?

Are you Tony, are you Tony, are you Tony Vietch in disguise?

If he goes, he goes. I'll be disappointed but I'm sure, whether I agree with them or not, he has his reasons. Then Marco Rojas will be somebody else's problem. All I really care about is seeing the Nix lining up along with the rest in the A League next season.

As for those who want him to have his legs broken? Really? It's football, players leave clubs, it happens. Get a life and deal with it.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Yeah, though at the same time as supporters we have a right to be pissed off. But that should go no further than being initially pissed and perhaps making him a bit of a villain aka smeltz.

It should not get personal. E.g breaking legs or even threats.

Allegedly

The voice of reason from spudsville.

Cant see how he thinks he is going to get the game time with the Tards he was getting with us.Unless they are set to shed some players which hasnt hit the rumour mill yet.

I am still trying to figure out what the X factor is. Could it be that Rodi Rojas is one of those shadowy people you hear about who think that Ricki sucks?

It's the A-League FFS. It's not like Messi just walked out on Barcelona for Real Madrid. Already over this, moving on. Chances are he will have played for Melbourne Victory, Melbourne Heart, Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets by seasons end the way this league goes.

If as reported, Rojas left not because of the money or the club but for football reasons.....that is a huge slap in the face for the football that the Nix play. Apparently he wants to develop his play with the Victory and sees himself more than just a winger.

So here we have it, two of the brightest football talents that NZ has produced have left the club. Barbarouses had an offer to stay but decided to try his luck with the Roar and had a stellar season playing wonderful football. Now Rojas is off too. Basically because he thinks playing for Victory will make him a better player than if he stayed at the Nix.

I am gutted, not only because I will never have the pleasure of seeing Rojas run out in a nix shirt again but because it means the club has a huge problem holding and nurturing talent.

I personally am sick of watching Rickies hoofball tactics. He has had 4 seasons now and we are no more than a battling mid table team. Everyweek I watch other A-League teams play a fluid passing game. I then switch to my own beloved team where it seems the main tactics are smash the opposition in midfield, get the ball wide and then hoof it into the box.
Sorry Rickie...you are a great guy but next season is last chance saloon!!!!

I'm not sure how you can blame Rojas's leaving on Ricki's tactics. Ricki has used him perfectly, as 2 goals and 7 assists testifies. It's clear to me that one older wiser head knows exactly how he should be playing.

I think a cardboard cut out of toto whould be more effective for the team environment and would be less of a burden on the salary cap. maybe we can even get a yellow fever t shirt made with all of our worst signings on it, that would be a top idea.

Rojas is better off at MV, They have the ACL coming up and he will be looked at from other Asian sides if he plays well.
Good luck to him and hope he does great.

Anyone think we'll sign Lovemore now?

Doesn't look anywhere near Marco technique-wise but has a bit of pace and we're gonna need to fill the U20 spotvaleo2011-02-27 18:44:12

Tell me what reason he would have to want to go to an Asian club?

Besides that he is still a Nix player until the end of March.

Would hope he has bigger things on his mind than asian clubs, and has already missed the ACL squad naming date so is unavailable. MV won't be in the ACL in 2012, so its not for that either. Adelaide would have made more sense IF that was his reason, as they are still in with a shot of qualifying.

K-League and J-League clubs would be a step from the A-League sides, But not just that they seem to be scouted alot more then the A-League teams. So he would look more viable for a Euro club to purches him.
