As the rumours man tk I can tell you that apparently he can leave for the right price. Supposedly there is a clause in his contract which states he should get a payrise if he played well in his first season, sounds like we don't want to pay the new amount? Crazy if you ask me.

Hope so! Heard a few reports the deal is done but nothing being said until he agrees the personal terms. Sounds like he's after quite the pay rise. I'd be telling him take a small increase and prove to us over the course of the season that he's worth the $60k per wk.

If we could snatch him and Cahill by the 13th we'll be in for a decent shot this season!

Agreed, got to hope we can keep Suarez fit. And a fit Agger will sure it up at the back (although think we need another player, because Agger is just always injured, unfortunately). We would walk into the top four if Agger was fit all season. and yes, a good start is really important, get everyone behind the team etc.
