Olympic possible dream season: Win chatham cup, win cap one and win cap 2..
Unluky to Marist, big game this weekend against our reserves, should be a tough game. Pitty its at KB sh*t pitch I think.

Tell ya what, you got us the game to do it. We have 4 of our usual defenders away to my knowledge. Dammit, I like standing around doing nothing in goal and getting congratulated for it!

Great news - our inspirational captain may be away for this game as well now. We are going to be fielding our girls team at this rate (they've already won the top league)

Hows the makeup of Olympic going to look with their first team playing on Sunday, any sly dropsies going to happen?

Also is IB's team just going to be the first team in drag?

Do I smell lies about Marist having players away?
Dont think Olympic 1st team will be dropping any players. Theyr second team is good enough to win it, no need for first team players. Theyll be concentrating on trying to win central league.

So we are coming up with other great ways we will be all killed for the coming weekend.

Cmon IB! Shank the system good and proper

This is unfortunately true, and it was probably the best spirited game we have played all season when we played them.

So of course we Catholic's couldn't have that, so I knocked out my centre back. The pansy

Ha ye I think Marist r pretty quality too, I see this weeks game still being tough despite you guyes having a few players out. Olympics taking this very seriously after last year screwing the title up losing to miramar so ye. Big game.

Pitty this games at Kilbirnie park, terrible ground.

if you only draw this weekend and Dreamers win, you are locked in to third. So you might as well concede the last game of the season in the hope the Bubbles get upset by Norf Wgtn.

Someone said it's been mowing/rolled/dynamited and it's in 'ok' condition... ok to what i'm not sure.

I'm still grumpy about the sprinkler head in the 6 yard box - no one likes goalies

Only comment there is that there aren't that many actual Catholics at the club...try starting a conversation about Transubstantiation with your average Marist player and you'll probably get the bash, which proves your point too Smithy...:)

I reckon we've been infiltrated by Islamic Fundamentalists, hence all the fisticuffs at marist games... :)

You could drop a 200 megaton Hydrogen bomb on The Bobbledrome and it would play about as true as it does now...

...just as the Bubbles are warming up this Saturday? We'll get onto His Holiness Benedict XVI, he should be able to sort it.

Might have to drop some of Marist second team to the firsts for that game...we've had a pretty good record vs the Dreamers over the last couple of years...in fact that could be why we have been mildly sh*te this year...no Dreamers team in Cap 2...:)

Drove past it a couple days ago.

The left side of the pitch looks like Corrales was rolling around in it for hours.

No dropsies at all, nor has or will be this season. Unspoken and accepted policy after last season. Also counter-intuitive to displace 2nd team players who will be the ones playing in champs if promoted.

Conversely may have players out: 1st team call ups after a couple of injuries picked up in the brutal chatham cup game. Nonetheless will still have a strong team. Should be a great game (feild permitting)

-Hope for the sake of marist defenders their keeper leaves his boxing gloves at home this time.

Olympic dominated first 10mins scored a good goal, but after the goal marist dictated play for the remainder of the half. 2nd Half was more of the same, Marist alot of possession but had few chances. Olympic didn't have too many chances either but scored a good 2nd goal. Oh and Marist had a player sent off in the last 5mins.

Played on Wakefield though where anything can happen... i.e Losing to wainui then plaing them a few weeks later on a good pitch and smoking them 8-3Redwards2009-07-30 16:13:43

Now for the Marist recap

Myself in goal had a giant mare and Olympic scored two goals because of it, first was well taken but came from me shanking a freekick. Second the guy kicked it right at me and I somehow palmed it over myself and because I was off my line it went in.

It was in all a pretty even game... but yes, our resident 'feisty' player got himself sent off, and I knocked out one of our defenders. Not my best day at the offica

Olympic lose 3-2 after being 3 nil down. The game was very poor from start to finish. Olympic are now 3rd place, however Marist v Karori next week so that should be interesting.

WU v BNU 0-0. BNU had the better of the second half and WU dominated the second. It was a good battle. The ref crumbled under the pressure of the assessor and had a shocker.

Fuck this stupid game

Dreamers easy 2-0 over the Bay.
