Did I hear correctly when Macca said that WSW would be making an announcement on a new signing on Monday and that it would be someone released from another A-League club ie Mo Al-Taay?
Can't decide which result is better for us, CCM winning or WSW winning. Or perhaps a draw is better?

Al-Taay is heading back to Sydney so it's possible he joins Kraev,

Yeah most rumours out there are saying he's going to WSW, so I guess we'll know for sure come Monday

Game is on Sky Open. Good to see Tom Doyle as a pundit!
Edit, just realised they have two ex Phoenix players in Ifill and Doyle doing the pre match chat. Couldn't they get Fred or someone else not associated with the Nix?
Auckland is so much better than us it's not even funny. For some reason I am enjoying watching Auckland's success, which hurts to admit, but I guess it's good from a NZ football perspective.

It's good for NZ football as a whole, but for me it's depressing to watch, I will be fudgeing devastated if they win the premier's plate, and even the league this season.

I am now prepared to eat a humble pie: my assessment to date was that A-FC have very good defence and an underperforming attack. However, it is very impressive to see Max Mata putting himself about today and scoring, May's peach of a goal right inside the post from a distance. Pijnaker - a CB - impressive composure scoring from a rebound. All beautiful to watch. And good for football in New Zealand: no longer a poor cousin to other sports, hopefully.
Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I think I could even cope with Corica, if this was his starting team and he had another non-Brimmer mid! Goals to Mata and Pijnaker and that worldie from May are much more fun than those own goals and 0-0 until 80 minutes. Rogerson doesn’t look flashy, but can beat a player, pass a ball and knock the odd one in. Basic winger skills. Slower than Gillion, but in a lot less time has better stats.
Max mata is a huge point of difference today, he has been a sniff away from a brace or even a hatrick and his threat upfront gave may a lot of space and time for the great first goal.
