The snakes are a joke rivalry. They don't care about us. Rudan is gone and we don't hate Durante, so why do we care about them? We have an actual rival now.

Funny hearing the commentators claiming the fever are there to support Auckland. I think he's forgotten the time the fever joined the bull pen when Macauthur played Auckland in unite round.

I think some of the FCC guys were heading out there with some Victory fans, so yeah they won't be there supporting AFC.

Danaskos always lets a ton go. I think AFC will over run them in the second half, when they get the wind at their back.

If they extended the stands right around the pitch and sheltered them by putting a roof on top, this would actually be an awesome ground for the ALM.

Well that was a classy two minutes from AFC after a terrible overall half of football - I suspect mainly weather induced. 

As for Mays goal, pure class hit. How hard did he hit that ball into the wind.

Hoping for Macarthur & WSW to draw tomorrow, both teams dropping points will keep us closer to 6th place, in case we somehow regain the ability to win games.

What's far, far more likely of course is that the Jets catch us, rather than us climbing the table. They're currently leading Adelaide in the second half and will be within a point of us if it stays that way.

I caught the last 20-odd minutes of the Jets victory, so many missed opportunities for Adelaide and yep the commentators made a point of saying Newcastle are only a point behind us now while AFC surge ahead.

Hmm last post in the Wellington Phoenix mens section was 8 hours ago, but the Make Auckland Great was two hours ago with several comments.  Kinda sad we aren't talking about our own teams more - mens and womens.

Any 5minutes of this games was more enjoyable to watch than any highlights from us this season.

Well I cursed that result, Brisbane take the lead in extra time.

I watched most of the Adelaide - Jets game and it was hugely entertaining.  Adelaide lost by missing opportunities that they worked hard to produce. The Jets missed none.  Their win against Victory a week ago was not a fluke.
