Such a shame the prices are so high and there's no student price.  A lot of fans will not go due to the high cost!

Boca website claims they're playing the Nix in Auckland!http://www.bocajuniors.com.ar/noticias/2010/07/13/sabias-que

All el
equipo se medir ante el Wellington Phoenix de Auckland. As le dar

All jokes aside, that's actually a pretty serious issue, for marketing and ticketing reasons.

For people who don't read this forum, and who read that site, getting wrong information could lead to booking travel/accomodation to the wrong city.

Would be best if the Phoenix could in contact with the Boca people to get that fixed up ASAP.

and shockingly the cheapest adult tickets to the Silver Ferns v Australia at TSB Arena are $45!  so much better value for Boca if you ask me.

I'm not really getting why people are unhappy at the proce point for this game. $50 for a silver seat is not that much, especially when you compare it to the oval ball prices. Looking back at all the big games we've had in the last two years, the prices have all been similar.

agree.....have just paid for our season tickets....$780.00.....trip to chch[now not on but still have the flights and hotel cost] $350.00..... Prices should have been as for the World Cup match....get the Ring full, not half full, if that. We all don't have a endless supply of cash.....be giving this one a miss.....but go the nix's

slightly off topic, but how about this for pre-season

Sydney will become the epicentre of the football world between July 25 - 31 with three of Europe's biggest clubs set to battle it out against Hyundai A-League champions Sydney FC in the inaugural Sydney Festival of Football!  Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers, EPL glamour club Blackburn Rovers and iconic Greek club AEK Athens will battle it out with Sydney FC over a three day round robin tournament commencing on Sunday July 25, at the Sydney Football Stadium.

surprising Ryan couldn't swing Blackburn over here for a game on the back of that one

I knw its unethical but if your really struggling for cash and don't have have enough money just buy a childs ticket on the net. I know this is bad but if cash really is a problem I don't really have a problem with it the club still get some cash and a better atmosphere than if someone didnt come because they couldn't afford the 45bux.

Lol i know people are going to hound me for suggesting this.

What's the latest down there on TV coverage? Just wondering if I'll be able to watch via a web stream somewhere. Apologies if this has been answered already.

Just noticed the Melbourne v Boca game is on Argentinean TV, so hopefully they'll also be filming our game.

What a stupid time to have an open training session. Don't they know there are people coming from out of town who won't be able to make it? This is just sooooo f**king typical of Wellington.

You expect them to have an open training session the day of the game, if they are even having one?

Only 13,000 attended the Boca vs Victory game.

I think the appeal of Boca, beyond football purists, has been way over estimated - as reflected in the ticket prices for next weeks game.

I think the lesson to be learned is you really need a strong brand - either an individual (e.g. Beckham) or club (e.g. Man U) to reach beyond "football supporters" and fill the stadium.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)
