Wouldn't we be better off just letting him play in the state leagues then..?

Allegedly

I'd even go for Jake Gleeson because he's just sitting on the bench at the Timbers. But if he isn't keen to move then O'Keefe or even our German pub football playing Stefan Marinovic could be a goer.

Who are these Timbers you speak of ?
Pretty sure it's Timberwolves......

You've missed a gag there Bullion.  They were referred to as the Timberwolves in a SKy commentary the other week.

Kewell  is once again in the oz media saying he will listen to any deals people want to throw at him. maybe we can offer him an old washing machine and some new shoe laces.

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Wonder how the misses' mum is? That is why he opted out of staying with the Victory. He couldn't get a gig in the EPL or Championship and at the money he would want. it is totally not worth it. Don't think he hasn't played in almost a yr now?

Sorry if this is old news, but can anyone shed some light on the status of young (21 now I think) Sam Heenan?  He appears here:

I seem to recall that Doloras was dead set that this guy was coming because of that site prior to the announcement.

Please tell me Hernandez is still coming despite Ricki going bye bye?

Hernandez is still coming.

Feel better?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Clearly Danny Hay won't feel better. Hernandez may be gold, but New Coach (*cough*greenie*cough*) won't be able to clear the decks and go all Year Zero on the squad now, so Ricki's still ruining everything from beyond the grave.

Can we enter in talks with Gamiero? So far in two appearances he has shown more desire than a few others. Certainly not a lazy player unlike some.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

oh that's just great, I hope to hell we are talking to the lad. He's got his chance to shine with us, surely he would be keen to hang around if we offered him a spot.

he said before he even arrived we were a stepping stone. Dissapointing if he buggers off but can't blame him. Nobody is going to sign when they don't know who the coach is going to be.

He's from Sydney as well so that's gotta be a drawcard for FFA FC.

Can't see him staying here no matter what happens .

Although he did tweet about staying in welly. Would be a shame if he went to another a-league side. I wouldn't be as worried if he went somewhere else though.

It would be great if they were forced to reveal their wage bill in public. Particularly next year when Neill is no longer a guest spot outside the cap.

No-one knows I think. That's the problem. And will the FFA fundraising continue next year then? Maybe we should start some sausage sizzles for Gameiro?
