.tv forums are going nuts. We all need to chill out a bit. People starting threads asking if Kenny should be sacked... smh
All I'll say is this: If there was a choice between H&G with Purslow at the helm and Woy leading the charge on the pitch verses Henry/Werner/Iyre and Kenny I know which one I'd choose every single time.
We hit rock bottom last season, it'll take some time to climb back up the mountain. She's rocky terrain...

Well said, and entirely agree. Feels like ages since I've looked forward to our games this much, even if we don't play well/ get results (although tbf, its probably just a couple of years). At the end of the day, still love the club and love watching us play. We aren't doing ourselves any favours, but we're heading in the right direction. Slowly but surely.
Besides, I don't think we were thaaat bad against Swansea. Swansea played very well but once again we didn't convert our chances.
I saw a stat that said we've only converted 9% of our goal scoring opportunities this season. Citeh lead the stat with around 22%. That's our biggest issue right there. We've only conceded 10 goals this season, I believe that's the 2nd least.
Take 1/3 of the shots that hit the post so far (11 times?) and convert them to goals, we'd likely be sitting 3rd on the table.
It's not doom and gloom. It's development, which is what I thought we'd all agreed this season would be. Getting back on our feet.

I missed the first half cos of work, so only seen the highlights and the second half. We were poor in the second half, truth be told, until about the last ten minutes when we decided to play a bit. Vorm is a fantastic keeper, and that save against Suarez, and GJ too, were great saves. Yeah, it just won't go in the back of the net for us! But I'm reasonably happy with where we seem to be heading generally.
I like Swansea, they're a tidy side. And we weren't anywhere near as dominant as the Norwich game though.
Anyway lads, I'm off to watch Atletico maul the Getafe scum, that'll cheer me up! Vamosssss!

I don't know how you go from "Yanks out" to "Bring back the old Yanks". Is this some peculiar form of logic that only works for Liverpool fans?

Oh dear, poor week for your footy teams.
How long should kenny persist with carroll? I've always thought hes ideal as the back up striker to mix things up when the play on the ground isn't working, although its unlikely he would be happy with a prolonged bench role. Would love to see bellamy up top with suarez against chelsea.

those 2 running at our defense worry's me greatly. haven't coped well with speed this season and bellamy has f**ked us over before with his pace.
Anyone else see this on BBC?
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez admits he finds it impossible to understand manager Kenny Dalglish's broad Glaswegian accent, but says he wants to stay at Anfield after his current five-year deal expires. <!-- S ILIN -->
It would be awesome if A) Suarez stays 5 years and then B) stays longer! It seems like if he keeps up his current form then Barca or Real will come knocking
I would think Manchester city would be more likely, I don't think barca would want him (even though he would fit in ok), and real have Benzema and Higuin. I'd rather he would stay, its pretty likely he will

I thought it would have been Ba over Best! He would be a bargain at 35 mill!
Big ups to the Liverpool club and its fans after last week's game. Best 0-0 I have ever seen, and the standing ovation you gave our boys was sheer class. Brilliant.
Suarez with 4! Why can't he do that in england! Are the goals bigger in south America?

Fair play, you deserved it. Well played and good luck for the rest of your season, mate
You look good side who are more than capable of staying up.

Wonder what his charge will be if found guilty?
people are saying he admitted saying "negrito" or something...any idea where that came from?
I heard it is a nickname given to Evra by United players, but they take exception to it being used outside their group of players.
Three for me, and two for them.

nope, no idea where the quote is of him admitting to that. but if thats the case, it just means 'mate' sort of thing. nothing to do with race at all. which is why Suarez said his United team mates call him it (mate) without problem.
hope they find him not guilty.
but as has been said, no surprise this comes out just before we have a huge game against Chelsea and taking some attention away from Terry
This explains the use of the word: http://edition.cnn.com/2011/11/17/sport/soccer-word-controversy/index.html?hpt=hp_c2
Pretty much what Nino said. So far it hasn't even been proved that this is the word, just assumed...
You get the feeling after Blatter's comments yesterday the FA will want to make an example of someone and Suarez is it. There has yet been no evidence either way but it will be assumed that Suarez 'the cheat', 'diver', and 'cannibal' was up to no good.
I just hope he eats JT up and spits out his ears...

exactly. the fa is a joke. not the england captain, but the filthy foreigner. xenophobic c**ts.
can't wait for the game, although its sad that you know already Suarez is going to get booed every touch. hope Suarez destroys them! Think Bellamy could be up for this one. Still got the pace, and he hates Terry as much as us
Yeah, keen to see Bellamy get a run out. "Foooooour"
Think he's just had two games for Wales though, Kenny will probably have him on the bench...
Thoughts on a line up? Lucas/Adam/Hendo - Lucas/Spearing/Hendo? Carra back in or on the bench?

Hmm, true, guess he's a decent impact sub anyway. please not Adam in a two-man midfield. that is all. Always fancy Lucas and Spearing, but pretty unlikely. Just really don't want Adam in a two man midfield.
You know what I think of Carra, but this could be his kind of game. Not sure he deserves a place, but he is a real backs-to-the-wall defender. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back and wouldn't even be too unhappy.
Kenny loves Carra doesn't he? I imagine he will be back in.
I read somewhere that if Luis gets found guilty he could face a 6 week ban!
All this pre game banter and nothing about Torres!
Carroll and Suarez to start? I'd like to see bellamy and suarez start up top but I don't think that will happen.
Good to see that we signed a young player that a few other clubs were after in Seyi Ojo. Don't know much about him yet, represented england under 16's?
